It’s our birthday! We celebrate ten years of Tongue Fu with a very special party on board the Dixie Queen in partnership with Totally Thames. Join us as we sail through London in a beautiful replica paddle steamer, with a wonderful line up of hotties – Abandoman’s Rob Broderick, Inua Ellams, Bellatrix, Vanessa Kisuule, Dizraeli, Erin Bolens and Rachel Nwokoro. We host a special one-off open mic for Last Word Festival. Open mic poets were selected at random from dozens of applicants. They are, Tane Stevens, Amani Saeed, Uppahar Subba, Joshua Seigal, James Chelliah, Maddie Godfrey, Maja De Freitas & Amber Agha. With special guest features, Amy Leon and Zia Ahmed. We take our new family show to the Roundhouse for the Last Word Festival featuring Chris Redmond, award winning storyteller, Jan Blake and children’s poet and rapper, Simon Mole.  3-4pm.  Tickets and info here

Our second outing for our new Tongue Fu for Kids is a playful hour of poetry, storytelling, freestyle rap, improvised music and all the chaos a room full of 7-10 year olds and their parents can muster. Featuring Chris Redmond, the Fu Band and guests – poetry queen, Francesca Beard and slam champ, Adam Kammerling. Tickets here
