There is no plan at Tongue Fu, other than to see what happens. Each gig is a blank page, figuratively and literally. Upon the 4 metre screen behind the Rich Mix stage, David Cuesta and Marco Bresciani – from East London design studio CR&D - work at superhuman speed to create spontaneous visual responses to the improvised performance. Combining slide and video projections with bespoke motion graphics they create multi-layered collage animations to fill the stage with colour and alternative narratives.
CR&D design Tongue Fu’s flyers, website, books and recently worked with us to create a whole bunch of sharp, shiny looking films that we’re really proud of, for The Space.
