TONGUE FU TAPES VOL 1.  ALBUM LAUNCH

On July 10th 2013 we launched our very first album Tongue Fu Tapes Vol. 1.

It’s a scorching compilation of live highlights from an incredible, as yet unheard archive, recorded over four years at Tongue Fu’s home – East London’s Rich Mix.

The album features Chris Redmond, Soweto Kinch, Kate Tempest, Jonny Fluffypunk, Jacob Sam-La Rose, Femi Martin, Ross Sutherland, Indigo Williams, Zia Ahmed, Joe Dunthorne, Francesca Beard, Anna Freeman, Homecut, Toby Thompson and John Hegley, with pretty gobsmacking accompaniments from the Tongue Fu band.

Needless to say we are very pleased with ourselves!  The music jumps from honky tonk, to dubstep, deep jazz, minimalist beats, tango, hip-hop and so much more.  The CD is available from gigs and soon from this very website.  It is also available on iTunes and Amazon.
